Teen Board Mission Statement "The Teen Board of the Conversation
Station is responsible
for setting a good example of Conversation Station policies and rules, for on-going activities and events for the Conversation Station members, putting
members' ideas and suggestions into action for enjoyment of all."
Teen Board Meetings are held the 1st Tuesday
of each month.
Conversation
Station members in 7th grade and/or 13 years old and up can apply to serve on the Teen Board.
The Teen Board plans activities for members, purchases items such
as new games, game unit accessories, and special event snacks. In addition, the Teen Board Members make and sell
cotton candy to fund their efforts and activities.
For consideration to be on the Teen Board, applications
can be requested at the Conversation Station.
Requirements for Applicants:
- Applicant must be in at least 13 years old and/or in the 7th grade or above.
- Applicant must have been a Conversation Station member for at least nine
weeks (1st grading period).
- Applicant
must be able to attend monthly Teen Board Meetings which are held on the first Tuesdays after school.
- Applicant must be dependable, reliable, and accountable.
